Established in 2012, the China Finance Summit is a major event brand built by numerous domestic financial institutions and mass media, and has always attracted much attention since its establishment. 10 years of public charity - shouldering social responsibility courageously

CHLITINA adheres to the corporate culture of “Love and Sharing,” and won the “Corporate Social Responsibility Model Award,” which benefited from the persistence of CHLITINA’s 10-year path of charity. Charity is a social responsibility of enterprises, and it is also a historical mission. Since CHLITINA initiated the charity project “Light Up a Light Program” with the China Youth Development Foundation in 2009, the project has been fulfilling corporate social responsibility and dedicating efforts toward the development of basic education by focusing on subsidizing rural teacher training in impoverished areas of China, as well as the health and learning of rural children. The name “Light” is derived from Dipankara Buddha in the Buddhist scriptures as he was able to illuminate others with the shining light around him when he was born. For the past 10 years, CHLITINA has been insisting on the providing of skills training rather than just resource donations, whether it is teacher training, course delivery, or student learning and career development. CHLITINA hopes to bring hope and light to rural education in China through the charity project like a lamp. CHLITINA’s “Light Up a Light Program” charity was upgraded to the “Light Up a Light Foundation” in 2018, and became the first foundation in the country to focus on reading for rural children. The reading education courses are systematically spread to every village and every hope elementary school.

As of March 2018, the “Light Up a Light Program” has trained 6,214 rural teachers, benefited 136,708 students, donated 14 loving library rooms, and held 2 summer camps and art exhibitions. In just two years, the “Light Up a Light Foundation” has issued 110 sets of reading course kits, donated 104 book corners, purchased 11,736 books, trained 948 teachers. The school has conducted more than 1,450 drawing book reading classes for subsidized schools, which has benefited nearly 63,000 students. The foundation successfully held activities in Duchang County of Jiangxi Province, including the “Pre-assessment,” “Seed Teacher Training in Shanghai,” “High School Teachers Entering Rural Classrooms,” “First Reading Class,” “Summer Concentrated Teaching,” and “10+1 School Startup” as well as full completion of the procurement and configuration of resources including “Graded Reading Course Materials,” “Graded Teacher and Student Picture Books,” and “Teaching Hardware,” which has allowed mass hardware information and extracurricular books to arrive in children’s classrooms in September last year in order to unfold “Each Reading Class.”

Striving toward a new era of big changes.

From the establishment of the beauty training giant, Germes Institute in Shanghai to initiating the manicure and eyelash chain brand RnD, CHLITINA entered the nail art and eyelash market and became the first national chain brand in the country with its own professional manicure and eyelash product lines. Mr. Zhao Cheng-you, chief operating officer of CHLITINA, has created fertile grounds of innovation with his efforts and diligence, as well as developing new momentum as part of a new era.
